Jonathan's Birthday
I don’t know who was more excited when a roomful of children, surrounded by balloons, snacks, gifts, and cake shouted “SORPRESA!” last Friday afternoon. I don’t know if it was Jonathan, the screaming children, or Gavin and I. It is so much fun to be a part of the life of these children… Jonathan has been asking weekly since his arrival to the home last July, when his birthday would arrive. His face glowed with excitement and joy throughout the festivities and all the children shared in his joy. Happy had not been a part of Jonathan´s birthdays in the past, but we hope to guarantee that it will always be a part of it in his future. We thank God for Jonathan and the laughter he brings us each day. Please keep Jonathan and all the children in your prayers as they continue to grow in Christ’s love.
